Russell Goodwin PE

Mr. Goodwin brings diverse engineering capabilities to the team. At O.D. Hopkins Associates, Mr. Goodwin was responsible for major updating and advancements to the ride control systems. Mr. Goodwin is an expert programmer with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI displays. He incorporated touch-screen interface that greatly enhanced ride-status monitoring and troubleshooting. Through his efforts, all of the new ride systems were equipped with modems to allow monitoring and troubleshooting of international rides from Hopkins’ New Hampshire office.

Mr. Goodwin was also responsible for the analysis of various ride structures using ALGOR finite element software.

Prior to Hopkins Mr. Goodwin was the Senior Mechanical Engineer at Textron Defense Systems. While at Textron he performed static and dynamic analysis of various structures including missiles and weapons systems.
