Florida (USF). Five movable stage effects were engineered that carry
cast members or move in close concert with their performance.
This high-energy show is still a major draw at Universal Studios Florida. The cast performs on or in close proximity to five stages that move on cue. The Phantom of the Opera rotates into view on his pyrotechnic organ while Frank makes his grand entrance on an automated operating table. The movable props transform the stage from a dilapidated Transylvanian castle to a throbbing discotheque loaded with special effects.
